St Cuthbert’s Day

Today we celebrated our school saint, Cuthbert. We listened to a story about his life and then worked together to decorate St Cuthbert crosses.

Measuring

In maths we have been learning how to measure different objects. We started by using cubes and paper clips to measure the objects and then learned how to use a ruler correctly and how to read a ruler. We had to remember when recording measurements to put cm after the number.

World Book Day

We took part in lots of different world book day activities, we wrote character descriptions of the different colours in the story, ‘Mixed’. Then we created marble pictures using blue, red and yellow and watching which colours mixed together.
